On 5th April 2015, in the distinguished presence of the Hon. Minister of Finance of Sri Lanka Mr Ravi Karunanayaka, IMS launched “Thirumanam”, a magazine with a spread of information on Tamil/Hindu wedding planning and weddings. The absence of such a magazine in the market had created a vacuum: now filled by “Thirumanam”. The Minister, very graciously recognised, and praised IMS for its efforts to serve the entertainment needs of the Tamil Speaking Population in Sri Lanka. Advertisers now have access to the scope in the Tamil matrimonial/wedding market, too. It would undoubtedly be a win win situation for them. The magazine was introduced along with the TV program Thrirumanam, to be aired on Vasantham TV every Sunday from six in the evening. Various aspects of traditional Tamil/Hindu weddings were showcased at the event, to the delight of the distinguished audience. The monthly Thirumanam is released in the first week of every month. A large clientele of corporates provides patronage and the content is a balance of text and pictures.
